We consciously created pomade that avoided animal derived ingredient, animal cruelty and palm oil. Whilst it wasn't easy to do this, it was possible and just took more time and effort with developing formulations that performed well, plus we chose to include ingredients that were premium, and a little more expensive.

So, made the extra effort, and achieved our first pomade that achieves these objectives.

 

Vegan - free of animal derived ingredients

Beeswax and lanolin are common animal derived ingredients in pomades. So, to avoid beeswax, we explored other waxes like candelilla, soy and carnauba. We settled on soy wax as the base for our pomades, its easily available, natural and safe. 

             

 

Palm oil 

Palm oil is widely used in personal care products, fuel and food. Across your local supermarket, you will find palm oil in thousands of products.

Avoiding palm oil was a challenge. Many ingredients that have even minimal processing have palm oil. So, we chose ingredients, firstly that we thought were free of palm.
